Cam Dykes is an experienced Chartered Accountant with a longstanding interest in the primary and farming sector.

He describes himself as a born and bred Southern man who loves dealing with his clients in a relaxed, informal yet meaningful way that will add value to their business.

“I see it as my job to challenge clients on their thinking in order to break away from some of the traditional compliance-based relationships.”

Cam is familiar with many people and groups in the local community having fulfilled several years of governance roles on school and community organisations, as well as coaching and administration of rugby and cricket school teams. He now contributes formally and informally on business and advisory boards, enjoying the job of asking the hard yet sometimes obvious questions.

“Having several decades of accounting and financial management experience, and the grey hair that goes with that, means I can ask these questions in a non-confrontational manner and hopefully help unearth the real issues.”



After hours he enjoys making the most of the local biking and walking trails. A holiday house at Lake Ohau is another favourite getaway.
