Georgie McLean is a Chartered Accountant who works across both the commercial and primary sectors. She has varied experience in working with clients on business development, budgeting, and taxation advice to ensure they are actively managing their businesses.

Originally from Alexandra, Georgie grew up on a local orchard and after graduating from the University of Otago she then worked in a range of industries including auditing, and as a management accountant in the financial and construction industries, before returning home and joining ICL in 2006.

Georgie has a young family and is involved in governance committees for Kopuwai Early Learning Centre and Journeys Central Otago – (a group designed to empower girls using outdoor adventure.) 

She is also an active multisporter and in February 2021 gained 3rd place in a tandem team for the iconic Coast to Coast event.
